Vegas!

This past weekend my best friend from high school, Nikki, got married in Las Vegas. She asked me to be in her wedding and I (of course) said yes. It was also a perfect excuse to see my family.

I got to meet my cousin's new baby girl for the first time: Isla Jane:

She fell asleep on me while I was burping her. Yeah,  I am that good. I am the baby whisperer.
I got to see Heather (who used to feed me when we lived in Las Vegas and would send me home with leftovers). I miss her- and her dinners- so much!

Shilo got to hold her too, and was excited about it

The next day was the wedding. I got to hang out with Nikki while she got her hair and makeup done. I took tons of pictures but since she isn't back from the honeymoon, I wont post a whole lot without her permission. But here are a few highlights from the beautiful wedding:

Her bouquets had glitter and crystals in them...gorgeous!

Below is a picture of Dana, me, Nikki, Carmen and Chantelle. We were inseparable in high school! So good to catch up with these ladies...

 Nikki's face is hilarious!!

I think I said "Are you mom enough?" as we were taking this picture... haha I am soooo short!

She looks like a princess!

Ok, so I was cheating on my diet this weekend and Brandon got this HUGE piece of cake- the one on the top- and I got this itty bitty piece (this picture doesn't do it justice). I guess its all for the best though :)

I requested the DJ play "Bye, Bye, Bye" - by Nsync because it was a song that us girls performed to in our High School talent show. Yes, I remembered the dance. It was amazing :)

Then Shilo took a bunch of pics of me and my lovely bouquet. Let's just say, things got out of hand...

The following day we hung out with family and friends and saw the eclipse

We had dessert at BLT Burger inside the Mirage. Yum!

I didn't get a picture with Bob and Johnathan but here are some fun ones of me and em-tay!

On Monday I visited with my parents before they drove home, saw some more friends and then we (Brandon and his siblings) surprised the in-laws with family portraits and dinner. I don't have the photos edited yet, but here is a sneak peek:

Ooooohhh yeaaaaahhhhh, these are gonnna be gooood.

:)

More to come later. Thanks for reading!

Peace, love and awkward family photos
