Massanutten, Virginia

My parents were able to come out here the end of June/ beginning of July. They stayed at the Massanutten Resort in Virginia, right next to the Shenandoahs. Brandon, Shilo and I drove out there and spent some time relaxing with them.

Our first stop was Luray Cavers.

These pictures don't even show how beautiful these caverns really were. And I am only showing you a few pictures of them. I took sooo many!!

This picture below is water on the floor of the caverns which looks like there are stalagmites but there weren't any. Just a reflection of the stalactites.

Below are just fun shots of the kids (how much longer can I use that term?!?1?)

 Funniest picture of the blog

My favorite picture of sissy

There were tons of deer roaming around the resort. And me being a California girl, was totally obsessed. And it was so beautiful out there so I took tons of nature shots. Deal with it.

My favorite picture

If you look closely you can see the deer in the middle of the picture. Right after I took this picture I got hit on by a car full of 30-40 year old men asking to take my picture. It was creepy.

And firework pictures (cause everyone loves those...)

On the way back to Centreville (with my folks, for the fourth of July) my dad and I decided to take this "easy" hike to see a beautiful waterfall. A million miles later we realized it was a bad idea. But I got to take some cool shots. And the waterfall was beautiful. I just didn't think we were going to make it back. It might have been 90 something degrees and 98% humidity that day...

Once we made it home, we got to cooking and had a feast for the fourth. Here are my patriotic cake pops.

Marshmallow pops. Nothing says America like overeating and lots of sugar. Amirite?

Shilo bought me a kitty shirt. I was super excited. ERMURGERD! FERTH OF JURLY KITTTIEERRS!
Brandon: Who did I marry??

Next blog? My birthday/ Olympics. Watch out, you will surely be jealous.
