Last weekend we had the chance to go to San Fransisco. I took a gazillion pictures but luckily I went through them and am only showing you the highlights (which you wont believe because there are still a ton to go through). I will break it down for you by each day. Enjoy reliving our trip to San Fransisco through pictures!
Day One:
After we arrived at the airport, we went straight to Standford to see the campus.
Here is Hoover tower:
View from the top of the tower
How would you like to walk around this campus everyday?!?
Church at campus
My favorite picture of the trip:
Shilo posing next to Rodin sculptures. To be fair, I told her to.
Then we drove over to Google headquarters
Employees rode around on these cool colored bikes
Google had giant sculptures of their lawn. We had to take pictures with them.
Android
"Not the gumdrop buttons!!"
Brandon was excited...can't you tell?
Shilo + giant cupcake = cutest thing evah
So great
Then we drove over to facebook. I like this:
Heading to SF to check into our hotel
We stayed in China town. I don't have a picture of our hotel room but let me just say that it was small and had two twin beds for me, Brandon and Shilo. If you are ever wondering why people get divorced, its probably because they had to share a twin sized bed for four nights. Just sayin.
Jellyfish in a display window
DAY TWO
We went to this place called the Exploratorium. It is "the museum of science, art and human perception". I think it was for kids but it was pretty cool anyway.
I have no idea why I am making this face.
Best. Drinking. Fountain. Ever.
She's always on the phone!!
Operator? Or DJ?
Outside the exploratorium was this beautiful structure. I couldn't stop taking pictures of it.
"Why isn't anyone liking my status?!?"
Someone has creepy dead hand!
What is this ancient thing?!? (Shilo, on the phone, again)
Then we ventured over to the Golden Gate Bridge
Brandon and Brian (who lives in SF)
Then we went to the Golden Gate State Park
This guy was just walking around. No big deal.
We are gangster.
Show your teeeeeeth!
We drove by the Painted Ladies (and the place where Full House was filmed but I didn't take a picture of it)
This is Japantown, where a festival was going on.
Totoro
After Japantown, we drove over to Haight and Ashbury.
Drogo??
If you haven't watched Game of Thrones, this is who I think the picture above looks like:
RIGHT?!?!
Some shops on Haight and Ashbury
DAY 3
We wanted to take a trolley, so we did
Bums are everywhere in San Fran
We were in a pier market thingy and the lighting was awesome, so I took some pics
Brandon bought this delicious thing
Trolley Ride!
Best picture of Brandon...
This was Jelly. Yes, you read that right, Jelly.
Funny story time: We were on the trolley and some dude riding with us asked the brake guy:
Random dude: Do you know Bob Johnson?
Brake guy: No.
Random dude: You sure? I thought all brake guys knew each other
Brake guy: No (couldn't care less about this conversation)
Random dude: Bob Johnson
Brake Guy: Oh, Bob? Yeah, I know him
Me, Shilo, Brandon - blink, blink, wow. that just. happened.
THEN
Jelly was talking to Brake guy throughout the whole ride. When she got off he asked her name:
Jelly: My name is Jelly
Brake guy: Julie?
Jelly: No, Jelly
Brake guy: Oh, Jelly. Like Jelly bean.
Needless to say the trolley ride was super eventful. And we got to see this sign on Polk street (aka the street where you used to pick up male prostitutes, per brake guy)
We then got to watch the Cherry Blossom parade. Super fun!!
This kid tipped his hat at me! How cuuuute!!
Ok, this lady wasn't in the parade. But she would get really close and clap, but also move her feet back and forth. I took back to back shots for proof:
Let's play a little game. What doesn't belong in a Japanese parade.
This picture:
Or this picture:
hahahahahaha!
These kids were super cool. They had dance moves and everything
And then there was this poor kid:
He did NOT want to be there!
When shouldn't you wear a panda suit? When you are the same shape of a panda.
I caught this picture of bubble floating by
Ok, ok, ok, now to the best part of the parade: people dressed up in anime. I die.
Apparently his foot was popped too. I was sad I missed it.
This chick was the bomb. She was super excited to be there!
Then she was followed my Mr. Seriouspants.
After the parade we drove over to Oakland to see the temple
DAY FOUR
We drove over Marin Headlands. There they had beautiful views of the city and old bunkers

another photobomb
Brandon and I hiked up a hill to get a better view of the city. Shilo didn't go so I took a pic of her:
Alcatraz
We went to the pier next to walk around and get ready to catch our boat for our night tour of Alcatraz island
Super creepy
Solitary Confinement
And to finish off the blog, here are some single shots we took throughout the trip
Best quotes of the trip:
"Fisherman are lumber jacks of the sea"
"You think it s a jellyfish... but its E.Coli!"
"Its kooky!!!"
"You know what would make this excursion exciting? Dinosaurs."
Peace, love and cable cars
