Let's start off with this fun story. One day we left our bathroom door open on accident (background: we usually keep it closed so the cats wont unravel the toilet paper or drink the toilet water. gross) Well we forgot and what do we find? Our cup of Q-tips empty. And THIS all over the floor! :
Really? A Q-tip fetish? We found them throughout the whole house the remainder of that week. Could these little guys be the culprits? Nah, they are too cute to do that...
Shilo and I went to Fairfax festival. Twas fun. Here is Shilo with her cute coat:
Why do I love this pic? Cause you can see my in the reflection...look!
I wanted to take a pic by this orange car that had no one by it. Then all of a sudden, like clockwork, people wanted to marvel. So I was mid sentence when Shilo took my picture "No!, its too late! These people ruined it! Now it is just weird!"
In October my in-laws came out to visit. We had so much fun! Pictures below are from Mt. Vernon (out of order, sorry!)
Love this picture. I wish it weren't blurry
How to photbomb at Mt. Vernon:
Step One: find someone trying to get this shot:
Step Two: PHOTOBOMB!
Shilo, stop and smell the roses!
I was trying to get a picture of this steer and my mother in law was cracking jokes about how I was taking a picture of the rear end of the other steer. I said " NO I am not!" I think this picture clearly shows who was right. Sorry Mary Kaye! :)
Best quote of the day: "Martha who!?!" - Mary Kaye LOL!
I will follow you until you love me...
We went to Arlington Cemetery (props to SHilo for giving me the inspiration for this shot)
Waterfront in Old Town Alexandria
The night before the in-laws left we played a game called Crazy Cat Lady. LOVE!!!!!!!
SHILO WON! (If you call having a bunch of cats winning)
Then they bought us a pumpkin and some festive flowers to stick on our porch for decoration. Karma went downstairs to help my mother in-law because she said she "wasn't doing a very good job" - those two are a RIOT!!!
Shilo and I dressed up all cute the day before Halloween. Here is the least scariest picture. I know. But seriously, you do not want to see the rest.
We didn't dress up on Halloween. Saddest day of my life. I had tons of fabulous ideas too! But we didn't really have anywhere to go. And we weren't allowed to dress up at work. Bummer.
That is about it. It has been pretty cold. Even the cats (that are covered in fur) stay under the blankets. Exhibit A:
He knows whats up. I am super exited for the holidays coming up and especially excited to go home for Christmas. I miss my family and friends so much.
Peace, love and Q-tips.
