Breaking Bad Premier Party

That's right, we had a party to watch the premier for AMC's Breaking Bad. Here are some shots of the details:

Shilo and I made shirts, and also made one for our friend Mallory. This was Mallory's. She is a chemical engineer so it totally fits.

This was rock candy. BTW, if you don't watch the show (which you totally should) they make blue meth so that is why we have so much if it at the party.

 Jesse (one of the main characters) ate a lot of Funyuns during the first season.

 

Jesse had graffiti on his walls on his house, so we did it to ours too (dry erase markers on our wall-o-mirror)

There is a fast food chain called Los Pollos Hermanos in the show. Nailed it.

Shilo made these beautiful jello parfait things. Soooo good.

So sad this is the last season :(

Race for the Cure

On June 2nd, the company I work for sponsored us to "walk or run for the cure" on the National Mall in D.C. And the day before we had a potluck at work. I made some yummy breast cancer cake pops (wait, that came out wrong).

This is the other Ashley I work with. She is hilarious (I look like an idiot in this picture because Ashley just whipped me around and I smiled as soon as I saw the camera lens).Yes, its confusing to work with another Ashley, especially when people are describing us:
Person #1 :You know, Ashley
Person #2: Which one?
Person #1: The one with dark hair and freckles
Person #2...blank stare...
This is when my height usually gets brought into the conversation and I become "Little Ashley"


The day of the race I woke up butt-early. We took a little bus to the even to D.C. I signed up to run the 5k but decided to walk it and hang out with my co-workers. I know, I am lazy. Here is our banner:

Pinterest Project: Jewelry Display Edition

A few weekends ago Shilo and I did a project we found on pinterest.

First we found these framed cork boards (Marshalls $30)

Then we went to JoAnn's and bought some fabric that went with the decor in our room

Then we cut the fabric to the size of the board and tucked it under the frame

 Then we hung up the board, put up our necklaces and voila! Shilo's finished product:

Super easy! Hopefully we will have craft day every month!

The Robisons
